To all Constables, Headboroughs, and other His Majesty's
Officers and Ministers within the County of Middlesex,
and to every of them whom it may Concern.

THese are to Will and Require, and in His Majesty's Name to
Charge and Command you, upon fight hereof, to bring before
Us and others His Majesty's Justices of the Peace, of the County
aforesaid, at the Sessions of Peace now holden at Hicks's-Hall in
St. John's Street, in and for the said County, the Body ofJoseph
Cliffe
< no role > to answer for leaving a male [..] Child
with an intencon to charge the parish of St Giles in
the feilds

(if the Court be then and there sitting) or if not, before us or some
others of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the same County, to
find sufficient Sureties forhispersonal Appearance at this present
Sessions to answer the same, and all such other Matters as on His Ma-
jesty's behalf shall be objected againsthimAnd ifhecannot
be taken during this present Sessions: That then so soon after asher
shall be taken, you bring or causehimto be brought before Us,
or some others of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the said
County, to find sufficient Sureties forhispersonal Appearance at
the next Sessions of Peace to be holden for the County, to answer
as aforesaid, and further to be dealt withal according to Justice,
Hereof you are not to fail at your Perils. Dated in open Sessions as
Hicks's-Hall aforesaid, this4th dayDay ofseptr.
in the Year of our Lord1697 .
