more than Three fourths of the Money of the last Rate
made inSession last being the last proceeding
Rate hath been Paid and Expended to Answer the
ends and purposes mentioned in the Act of Parliament
first abovementioned and that it is necessary a
considerable Sum of Money should be raised and a
Rate made upon the Parishes Towns Liberties Precincts
Villages Hamlets and places in the said County for
raising of Money to Answer the several ends and
purposes in the said first recited Act of Parliament
mentioned. This Court upon Consideration of the
premises and of the Returns made and Sworn to by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the several
Parishes and Places within this County pursuant to
the Directions of the said Act of the Thirty seventh Year
of the Reign of His present Majesty is of Opinion and
doth accordingly Order that a General equal Rate of
Three farthings in the pound upon the Annual Rent
or Value of the Estates within every Parish Town
Liberty Precinct Hamlet Village, and place in the said
County be made and Assessed upon every Parish, Town
Liberty, Precinct, Hamlet, Village and Place within the
said County, which this Court doth think necessary to be
Raised for the purposes aforesaid. This Court therefore
by virtue of the said Acts of Parliament Doth Assess
and Tax all and every Parish, Town Liberty Precinct
Village, Hamlet and place hereinafter mentioned in
the respective Hundreds and Divisions within the
said County of Middlesex and within the Jurisdiction
and Authority of the Court rateably and in equal
proportions the respective Sum following that is to say.
