The Memorial of Lydia Adams< no role > the Sister of the late
Contractor for conveying vagrants in through and out of this County
praying an Allowance for the Expence which had been incurred in buildings
on the Premises at Islington for the accommodation of Vagrants in her late
Brothers life time and also the Report of the Committee to whom it was
referred being read, and the same having been fully considered by the Court
It was Resolved that no Allowance ought to be made to the said
Lydia Adams< no role > on that Account.

By Adjournment same day.

The Act of Parliament passed in the Thirty fifth Year of his
present Majestys Reign entitled "An Act for the more effectual prevention
"of the use of defective Weights and of false and unequal Balances" being read
Resolved that the consideration thereof be referred to the Committee of
Accounts and to such other Magistrates as may think proper to attend
and that they report their of inion thereon to the Court; and that Daniel
Williams
< no role > Esqr . be added to the said Committer of Accounts.

By Adjournment same day

Resolved that Philip Neve< no role > Esqr . be appointed a visiting
Magistrate in the room of Nathaniel conant Esqr . at the New House of
Correction until the next Session. And that the Thanks of the Court he
given to Nathaniel Conant< no role > Esqr . and Edmund Pepys< no role > Esqrs . for their
attention to the said Prison.

Christopher Glover< no role > one of the High Constables of the
Hundred of Elthorne in this County attending this Court & prayed to be
discharged from the said Office, having served the same for more than
a Year and an half: and Mr William saxon< no role > being recommended by
two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said
Hundred as a fit and proper Person to serve the said Office: Ordered
that the said William Saxon< no role > have notice to attend on Saturday
next the Nineteenth day of September Instant: To shew cause why he
