and the said Committee being present and having informed the Court
that they had Examined the said Bill and that they were of Opinion that
the same was reasonable and ought to be paid Resolved that the
said Sum of £160..13s..0d be paid to the said John Wilkinson< no role > in full
discharge of the said Bill and that as no Money has yet been raised on
the particular Account of the said House of Correction the Clerk of the
Peace do issue the proper Order upon the Treasurer of this County for
Payment of the said Sum to the said John Wilkinson< no role > to be repaid to the said
County Treasurer out of the Moneys to be raised for the purposes of the said
intended House of Correction by Virtue of the said Act of Parliament

The said Committee also laid before the Court a proposal
from Charles Middleton< no role > which was read as follows Vizt.

"Charles Middletons Proposal.

On Condition of being allowed (from the County) Sixty
Guineas; I will Engage to Engrave the Drawings of the intended.
House of Correction ; and have the Plates ready for Printing being at
Liberty to Charge Two Guineas and half for those Sets which will be
wanted by the Select Committee and Three Guineas and half to the Publick
when the Committee shall be supplied with the Quantity they shall have
Occasion for; and also the Sum of Ten Guineas for making the
