being called in accordingly. The Chairman having informed him of
Election gave him a Charge for the due observance of the duties of the Off [..]
Mr. Eyles the Treasurer of the Tolls of the St. James's
Hay
Market
having laid before the Meeting, an Account of his
Receipts and Disbursements as Treasurer
aforesaid since the
Audit of his Accounts on the 14th. of Feby. 1782 and the same being
now examined & audited it appears that
and Mr. Eyles expressing
a desire to yeild up the Office of Treasurer of the Tolls
of the
St. James
Hay Market
and wishing to pay the balance into the
hands of the Treasurer of the County
. It is Ordered that
Mr. Eyles do pay into the Hands of the Treasurer
of this County
the balance now remaining in his Hands & it is further
Ordered that the Collector of the Tolls of the St. James's
Hay
Market
do hereafter pay all such monies as he shall collect
into the Hands of the Treasurer of this County who is hereby
required to Enter in a Book to be kept for that purpose only on
Account of such Monies as he shall receive and pay of and
concerning the said fund.
