or Clergymen so appointed as aforesaid other in his or their Room to
nominate and appoint, Now this Court on consideration of the premises
and under the authority of the said act of Parliament Doth Order that a
Chaplain be appointed to perform Religious Duly according to the Rites of the
Church of England in the said Goal called New Prison at Clerkenwell in
this County And it is further Ordered that the Nomination and appointm-
-ent of a Chaplain as aforesaid be on the County day of the next Session
of the Peace to be holden for this County being a General Quarter Session

And it is further Ordered That it be referred to the Committee
for the Repair of the Prisons to settle the Duty and Salary of the Chaplain
to be appointed to New Prison and that Sir John Hawkins< no role > the Chairman
and Sir Charles Whitworth< no role > be desired to favour the Committee with their
attendance and that the Committee do meet to take this Matter into
Consideration at Hicks Hall on Friday the twenty fourth day of Septr
Instant at Eleven o Clock in the forenoon

The Matter relative to the Public performance of Music at New
Tunbridge Wells which having been referred to Sir John Hawkins< no role > the
Chairman to do therein as to him should seem most meet was now at
Sir John's Request Ordered to stand over to the County day of the next
ensuing Session.

It having been order'd by the Court on the last County Day that
Advertisements should be inserted in the Public Papers with respect to
the proceedings of Session in the Matter of the Wages to be paid to and
accepted by Journeymen Weavers for their Labour And also with respect
to the illegal mode of begging practiced by persons pretending to be Journey
men Weavers. The Deputy Clerk of the Peace reported to this Court that
the advertisement so ordered had been duly inserted in the public papers

A new deed of Feofment of the County estate having been lately
executed by the surviving Trustee in the last Deed named and several
of the new Feoffees wherein Mr William Herbert< no role > late Deputy Clerk of the
Peace of this County was appointed Attorney by the said new Feoffees to
receive Seizin of the said Estate And it appearing to this Court that the
said Mr William Herbert< no role > departed this Life before all the new Feoffees had
executed the said Deed. It is ordered by the Court that the Clerk of the Peace
do consult with Mr Duane whether it will not be necessary to have a new
