By adjournment on Thursday the 26th. day of October
1758 .

Order for Mr. Higgs
the Trearer to pay
10th. to Mr. James Sturgis Adams< no role >
for keeping of
Vagrants Etc.}

An Account being produced to this Court by Mr. James Sturgis
Adams for Money by him expended for the keeping of Vagrants
in his own House amounting to the Sum of Seven Pounds three
Shillings and ten pence and the said Mr. Adams praying that the
Same may be paid to him and that he may have Some Allowance
for his Extraordinary Trouble This Court upon Consideration
had of the Premisses doth Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer
of this County do pay the Said Sum of Seven Pounds three
Shillings and ten pence and also the further Sum of two Pounds
Sixteen Shillings and two pence into the Said Mr. Adams for his extraordinary
Trouble which Said Sums amount together to the Sum of Ten
Pounds and that the Receipt of the Said Mr. Adams together
with this Order Shall be a Sufficient Discharge to the Said
Treasurer for Such payment.

An Account of Inquisitions having be produced before this Court
by Edward Umfreville< no role > Esqr . one of the Coroners of this County.
therein mentioning the Same to be taken on view of Dead
Bodies in the Said County and Chargeable by virtue of an Act
of Parliament on the Said County Which Said Inquisitions
contain the Names of the dead Bodies viewed being fifty one
in Number And it appearing unto this Court by & Writing
under the hands of Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Francis Bedwell< no role >
Esqrs . two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the Said County
that they have examined the Said Account and there is due to the
Said Coroner for the Same the Sum of Fifty Six Pounds Nineteen
Shillings and Nine pence It is Ordered by this Court that Mr.
John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the Said Sum of fifty
Six Pounds nineteen Shillings and nine pence unto the Said
Coroner in full of his Said Demand whose Receipt together
with this Order Shall be a Sufficient Discharge to the Said
Treasurer for Such payment.
