Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £91.10s.0d. to the Inspectors
of the distempered Cattle.

An Account of moneys due to the Inspectors appointed to put a Stop to the Spreading
of the Distemper now raging amongst the Horned Cattle in this County having been
produced and laid before this Court it appeareth to this Court that there are due to the said Inspectors
upon the same Account as followeth


To Edward Tomkins< no role > from the 19th. of Octr. 1754 to 5th. April
1755 being 24 Weeks at 20s. a Week

To John Slee< no role > from the 15th. Novr. 1754 to the 5th. April
1755 being 20 Weeks

To John Jones< no role > from the 19th. Octr. 1754 to the 22d. Novr.
when his Salary was ordered to cease being 5 Weeks at
10s. a Week

To Do. from the 3d. Janry. 1755 (when he was again appointed
Inspector) to the 5th. April 1755 being thirteen Weeks

Which several Sums together amount to the Sum of Ninety one pounds and ten
shillings And the said Inspectors praying that they may be paid the respective
Sums of money abovementioned due to them respectively upon the said Account It
is thereupon Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do
pay unto the said Inspectors respectively the respective Sums of money abovementioned
written over agt. their respective Names And that the respective Receipts of the
said Inspectors together with this Order shall be sufficient Discharges to the said
Treasurer for such respective payments.
