By adjournment on Thursday the twenty seventh day of February 1755 .

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £66. to the Inspectors
of the distempered Cattle.

An Account of moneys due to the Inspectors appointed to put a Stop to the
spreading of the Distemper now raging amongst the horned Cattle in this County having
been produced and laid before this Court it appeareth to this Court that there are due to
the said Inspectors upon the same Account as followeth


To Edward Tomkins< no role > from the 27th. April 1754 to the 19th.
October 1754 being 25 Weeks at 20s. a Week

To Thomas Lane< no role > the same25.0.0
To John Jones< no role > the same at 10s. a Week12.10.0


To Tomkins, Lane & Jones for attending the Welch
Fair at Barnet 4 days at 5s. a day each

To Tomkins for attending Harley Bush Fair two days. 0.10.0

Which several Sums together amount to the Sum of Sixty Six Pounds and
the said Inspectors praying that they may be paid the respective Sums of money
abovementioned due to them respectively upon the said Account It is thereupon
Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay
unto the said Inspectors respectively the respective Sums of money abovementioned
written over against their respective Names And that the respective Receipts of
the said Inspectors together with this Order shall be sufficient Discharges to the
said Treasurer for such respective payments.

By adjournment on Thursday the twenty seventh day of February 1755.

Order for Mr. Higgs Trear
to pay £9. to Mr. Wilkins
Paviour for Keeping the
Pavemt. of Brentford Bridge
in repair for one year ending
Michas 1754.

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do
pay unto Mr. John Wilkins< no role > Paviour the Sum of Nine pounds due to him by Contract
for keeping the Pavement of a Publick Bridge called Brentford Bridge in this
County in good and sufficient repair for one year ending at Michaelmas One thousand
seven hundred and fifty four and that the Receipt of the said John Wilkins< no role > together
with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for such
payment.
