Order for Mr. Higgs the
Treasurer
to pay Two
Pounds to John Ditcher for
his Salary for keeping the
Door of the Court at Hicks
Hall.}
It is Ordered by this Court that Mr.
John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer
of this
County do pay unto John Ditcher the Sum of Two Pounds for
his Salary allowed to him by his Majestys Justices of the Peace
of this County for one year due this present General Sessions of
the Peace for his Care and Trouble in attending the private Door
of the Court at Hicks Hall
And that the Receipt of the Said John
Ditcher together with this Order Shall be a Sufficient Discharge
to the Said Treasurer
for Such payment.
