Order for Mr. Higgs the
Treasurer to pay

Coroner for the Liberty
of Westminster }

A List of Inquisitions being produced before this Court by Roger Jackson< no role > Coroner
for the City and Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middx therein mentioning
the same to be taken on View of Dead Bodies in the said Liberty of Westminster by the
said Coroner and chargeable on the said County pursuant to an Act of Parliament
made in the twenty fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George
the second Intituled An Act of giving proper Rewards to Coroners for the due
Execution of their Offices and for removal of Coroners upon lawfull Conviction
for certain Misdeameanors which List begins on the nineteenth day of
December one thousand seven hundred and fifty two and Ends on the thirtieth
day of May one thousand seven hundred and fifty three therein
mentioning the said Bodies to viewed in several Parishes and places in the said
Liberty and to be Eleven in Number and that Eight pounds and fifteen Shillings
is due to him for his Coroners Fee on View of the said Bodies, and it appearing to this
Court by Writing under the hands of Thomas Jervis< no role > and Charles Gould< no role > Esquires two
of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the said County that they have examined
the said Account and believe the same to be true It is ordered by this Court that
Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of Eight pounds
and fifteen Shillings to the said Roger Jackson< no role > Coroner in full of his said
demand whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.

By Adjornment on Saturday the 9th. day of June 1759

Order for Mr. Higgs< no role >
the Trearer to pay 0.7s.0

Jane Branville< no role > and
Ann Drake< no role > for Petty
Larceny.}

Upon the prayer of Richard Rooke< no role > the Present or of an Indictment
against (Jane Branville< no role > and Ann Drake< no role > who have been tried and
Convicted at this present Sessions of Petty Larceny It is Ordered by this
Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay unto the said
Richard Rooke< no role > the Sum of seven shillings for the Expences which he hath
been put unto in carrying on the said prosecution And that the Receipt
of the said Richard Rooke< no role > together with this Order shall be a sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.
