Gore to be High Constable within the Same Hundred in the place
and Stead of the Petitioner, And doth Order that the Said Thomas
Kimbold do forthwith (after notice to him given of this Order) attend
Joseph Tayler< no role > Esqr . and William Sharpe< no role > Esqr . two of his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the Peace of this County residing in or near the Said
Hundred or one of them or Some other Justice of the Peace of this
County and forthwith take his Oath before the Said two Justices or
one of them or other Justice as aforesaid for his due execution of the
Office of High Constable within the Said Hundred of Gore, And from
and after the time of his having taken Such Oath the Said Thomas
Dowdswell is to Stand absolutely discharged from being High Constable
within the Same Hundred.

By adjornment on Thursday the 23d. Day of February 1748

Application being made unto this Court by Mr. Tho: Buxton< no role >
High Constable within the Hundred of Edmonton in this County
informing this Court that he hath Served the Said Office of High
Constable for a considerable time past, and performed his Duty
therein, and collected and paid all the County Rates, and he
therefore prays to be discharged from the Said Office of High Constable,
This Court being Satisfyed of the truth of the Premisses Doth
appoint Mr. John Dutton< no role > of the Parish of Enfield within the Said
Hundred of Edmonton to be High Constable within the Said Hundred
in the place and Stead of the Said Thomas Buxton< no role > , And Doth
Order that the Said John Dutton< no role > do forthwith (after Notice to him
given of this Order) attend one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
of this County residing in or near the Said Hundred and take his Oath
before Such Justice of the Peace for his due execution of the Office of
High Constable within the Hundred of Edmonton aforesaid, And from
and after the time of his having taken Such Oath the Said Thomas
Buxton is to Stand absolutely discharged from being High Constable
within the Said Hundred.
