of Furniture, & Woman for Attendance} £1.6s.0d

Making together the Sum of Ninety Nine Pounds and Six Shillings
This Court upon Consideration of the Premisses Doth Confirm the
Said Report, And doth thereupon Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of this County do pay unto the Said Joseph Walker< no role > ,
Edward Tomkins< no role > , Thomas Lane< no role > , and John Westbrook< no role > (vizt.) to
each of them the Sum of twenty four Pounds and ten Shillings,
And to the Said Mr. Partington the Sum of One Pound and Six
Shillings in full of their Said respective Demands, And that
their respective Receipts together with this Order Shall be
Sufficient Discharges to the Said Treasurer for Such respective
Payments.

By adjornment on Thursday the 26th. Day of May 1748 .

Order for providing for
Vagabonds or Vagrants
by the Parish or Place
where taken Sick.}

It is Ordered by this Court that where any Vagabond or Vagrant
Shall be Ordered by any Justice or Justices of the Peace of this County
by Pass under his or their hands & Seals to be passed & Conveyed from
the place where apprehended to the Parish or Place of the last legal
Settlement of Such Vagabond or Vagrant, And if it Shall
happen that Such Vagabond or Vagrant Shall in Such Conveyance
fall Sick, any Parish or Hamlet in the way leading toward the
the place of his or her legal Settlement, by means of which Sickness
Such Vagabond or Vagrant cannot be then further conveyed but Shall
be left in Such Parish or Hamlet where taken Sick, That then the
Churchwardens or Overseers of the Poor of that Parish or Hamlet
Shall at their Charge provide and relieve Such Vagabond or
Vagrant as Casual Poor until passed to the place of his or her
legal Settlement, and the Charge thereof is not fall upon this
County.
