By adjornment on Thursday the 25th. day of February 1747 .

Order for allowing a
Salary of £4. a year to
John Ditcher< no role > .}

This Court having observed that John Ditcher< no role > hath for divers years last
been attendant upon his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this County
assembled in Sessions and hath been very usefull to them upon divers
Occasions, and hath been ready to observe and obey the Directions
by them given in Matters and Messages relating to the Commission,
and that his Attendance is Still necessary and may be usefull, And being
informed that he is very desirous to continue his Attendance upon them
as formerly having Some Small Allowance made him for Such Labour
and Attendance, This Court, to the intent that the Said John Ditcher< no role >
may have Some Recompense in relation to the Premisses, Doth Order
that the Said John Ditcher be for the future allowed and paid the yearly
Sum or Salary of four Pounds for his future Attendance upon his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the Peace of this County at their Sessions and Such like Service
as aforesaid he duly performing the Same as formerly, And that Such
yearly Sum be paid to him by the Treasurer of this County until further
Order of the Court of Sessions of the Peace for this County to the contrary by
quarterly Payments, to wit, at Lady day, Midsummer, Michaelmas,
and Christmas, the first quarterly payment thereof to commence &
be made upon Lady day now next ensuing, And the Receipts of the
Said John Ditcher together with this Order Shall be Sufficient Discharges
to the Said Treasurer for Such payments.

Mrs. Anne Style< no role > to be
Matron of the House of
Correction at Clerkenwell }

It appearing to this Court that Sarah Whittenberry< no role > late Matron of the
House of Correction at Clerkenwell in this County is lately dead, This Court
thinking it necessary that a New Matron Should be forthwith appointed in
her Stead, Doth thereupon nominate and appoint Anne Style to be
Matron to the Said House of Correction at Clerkenwell in the place and
Stead of the Said Sarah Whittenberry< no role > To have hold execute and enjoy
the Said Office, Place, or Employment of Matron, and to keep her Residence
there, and to take care of and be assisting to Women who Shall happen to be
with Child and delivered of the Same in the Said House, and also to be
