To his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
assembled at the General Quarter Session of the peace holden
at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in and for the Said County by
adjornment on Friday the Sixth day of April in the Seventeenth
Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King
of Great Britain Etc.

Presentment of the
Grand Jury.}

We whose Names are hereunto Subscribed good and lawfull
Men of the County of Middx Jurors for our Lord the King Sworn
and charged at this present Session to Inquire for our Said Lord the
King for the Body of the Said County Do by this our Presentment
certify That we having examined Several credible persons upon
Oath It appeareth unto us the Said Jurors And we do accordingly
upon our Oath present That Such part of a certain Publick
Bridge called Chertsea Bridge as is in the Same County (which part
of the Same Bridge hath been heretofore usually rebuilt repaired
and maintained at the Charge of the Inhabitants of the Same County)
is very much out of Repair, And that it is necessary that
the aforesaid part of the Same Bridge Should be forthwith repaired
or new built.
