of Mr. John Higgs< no role > the Treasurer of the County Rents from
the last Audit, And that they found that the Treasurer had
received the Sum of One hundred ninety two Pounds ten
Shillings and Six pence, and paid and expended the Sum of
Ninety nine pounds five Shillings and nine pence, And that
three remains in the Treasurer's hands the Sum of Ninety
nine pounds four Shillings and nine pence, and which Said
Account is entered and Signed by the Committee in the
County Rent Book, And which Said Account includes all the
Rent for the Corporation Workhouse to Lady Day last, and for
the White house called the Mulberry Garden to Christmas
last, and for the Acknowledgment paid by the Cayer for
Hicks Hall to Christmas last, At which the said Committee
humbly Submitted This Court upon reading the Said
Report Doth agree to Such part thereof as doth relate to
the rebuilding of the Said two Offices of the Clerks of the
Indictments and also to Such part of the Said Report as doth
relate to the Said Alterations made in the Court of Hicks Hall
by Order of the Said Committee, And doth thereupon Order
that the Sum of three pounds twelve Shillings and three
farthings due unto Mr. Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter upon his
Bill for making the said Alterations in the Court and finding
Wood & Materials for that purpose be paid by the Treasurer of
this County out of the County Rents unto the Said Richard Jupp< no role > in full
Satisfaction of his Demand for the Same, whose Receipt together
with this Order shall be a Sufficient Discharge to the Said
Treasurer for Such payment, And this Court doth also agree to
Such part of the Said Report as relates to the Said twelve new
Chairs made and provided for the Great Room at Hicks Hall
aforesaid, And doth Order that the Moneys due for the Same which at
fifteen Shillings for each Chair amountath to the Sum of nine
Pounds [..] be paid by the Said Treasurer out of the County
Rents aforesaid and be allowed to the Said Treasurer upon
his Account, And as to Such part [..] of the Said Report as
relates to the accounts of Mr. John Higgs< no role > the Treasurer of the
County Rents therein menconed This Court doth agree
thereunto, And doth ratify & confirm the Same and the Same
is hereby ratifyed and confirmed accordingly.
