Said Committee or any three or more of them to assemble
and meet together, and to examine Settle and ascertain
Such Rates and allowance as they in their opinions Shall
adjudge reasonable & Sufficient to Satisfy & pay to the
Constables of this County Such overplus charges as they or
any of them Shall have been at or ought to be allowed on
account of providing Such carriages as aforesaid, having
regard to the Season of the year and the length and
condition of the ways by and through which Such
carriages Shall have travelled, And to make their Report in
writing touching the premises unto this Court.

Bentford Bridge}

Information being given unto this Court by James Clitherow< no role >
Esquire one of the his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace for this County
that he together with Sr. Joseph Ayloss Houlding Bart. and
Richard Bulstrode< no role > Esquire being of the Committee for inspecting
the progress of the works carrying on in order to finish the
new building of Brentford Bridge in the Said County, haveing
met together touching the Same, It appeared to them that the
lost & cheapest way will be to pave the top of the Bridge with
pebles about Nine inches deep picked for that purpose, To part
a Feet way of five feet in the clear at least with posts and zails,
and to pave it with purbeck Squares, To put posts to the Angles
of the Bridge and wherever necessary near the Avenues of
the Same to defend it from carriages, And to change Mr. Crisps
Windows from the front to the end of his Dwelling house The
ground before the Front having been taken away for the
greater conveniency of the Bridge which matters & things
are mentioned & comprized in an Accounty in writing now
produced & laid before this Court by the Said Mr. Clitherow, This
Court being of opinion that the Said matters & things
