given unto this Court by Several Gentleman of the Said
Committee that the Said Charles Marquand hath in
pursuance of his Said agreement erected the Said
temporary Bridge and found & provided Wood, Iron,
gravel & other materials used in & about the erecting
the Same, And that they directed Mr. James Horne< no role > for & on
the behalf of this County to measure the Said temporary
Bridge, and to Set a valuation on the Same, and to give
an estimate of the charge & price thereof, which hath
been accordingly done, And by the estimate of the Said
Mr. Horne by him Signed & now produced to this Court
(which estimate this Court doth approve off) It
appeareth to this Court that the money due to the Said
Charles Marquand for the Said temporary Bridge amounteth
to the Sum of four hundred and five pounds and thirteen
Shillings And the Said Charles Marquand praying that
the Said Sum may be paid unto him assoon as it may
be conveniently done, This Court being Satisfyed of the
truth of the premisses Doth Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of this County do assoon as he Shall have
Sufficient money in his hands for this purpose pay unto,
the Said Charles Marquand the Said Sum of four hundred
and five pounds and thirteen Shillings in full of his
Said demand on account of the said temporary Bridge whose receipt together with this Order Shall
be a Sufficient discharge to the Said Treasurer for Such
payment.

Information being given unto this Court by Several
Gentleman of the Committee of Justices of the peace of this
County for transacting matters relating to the rebuilding
or repairing the publick Bridges of the Said County that Mr.
Lucas Kenn< no role > Sollicitor in Parliament hath brought in a
bill or account of money by him charged for business by
him done and money disbursed on behalf of this County
in procuring the passing the Bill intituled, An Act to
Supply Some defekts in the Laws for repairing and rebuilding County Bridges, for repairing enlarging
erecting and providing Houses of Correction, and for passing
