By Adjornmt. on Thursday the fourth day of December 1740

Order for a Committee to
hear the proposalls of Wm.
Body touching his taking a
lease of the House called the
Mulberry Garden< no role > with the
appurts (part of the County
Estate) at Clerkenwell Etc }

It is Ordered by this Court that it be and it is hereby recomended
and referred unto the Committee of Justices of the peace for this
County appointed to Inspect and adjust the publick Accounts
of the Said County or any three of them to hear the proposals
of William Body< no role > for taking a Lease of a house called the
Mulberry Garden (which is in a ruinous condition) with the
Appurtenances at Clerkenwell part of the Estate belonging
to this County from Lady day 1742, and upon what Terms,
at which time the Lease now in being which is Vested in
Mr. Samuel Handley< no role > will expire the Said William Body< no role >
being his Undertenant, and to make their Report with
their opinion touching the matters aforesaid to the Court
of the next Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County.
