following reced Ninety Vagrants past, and conveyed them to the
respective places directed by their respective passes, And having
examined him on Oath touching his expences in conveying
and relieving the Said vagrants the Said Justices are of opinion
that the Several Sums by them Set down in the last Column
of his Account are reasonable to be allowed to him for the
service aforesaid, which Sums amount in the whole to the
Sum of Nine pounds five Shillings and two pence, This Court
upon reading the Said Report doth ratify & confirm the Same
And doth order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do
out of the money raised & by him reced by vertue of the
County Rate made in December Sessions 1739 pay unto the Said
Peter Creswell< no role > the Sum of fifty two pounds one Shilling and
three pence remaining due to him for the Service above
mentioned over & above the Sum of twenty pounds to him
paid by Mr. Higgs in part for the Said Service pursuant to a former
Order in Such behalf made which Sum hereby directed to be
paid to him is to be in full of the Said Peter Creswells< no role > demand
for the passing & releiving of vagabonds to the Said first day of
November now last, inclusive, And that the Said Treasurer do also
out of the money by him reced as aforesaid pay unto the Said Walter
Brettforthe Said Sum of Nine pounds five Shillings & two pence
for his Said Service and in full of his demand for the passing and
releiving of Vagabonds to the Said fourth day of the Same
Month of November now last, And that the respective receipts of
the Said Peter Creswell< no role > & Walter Brett< no role > Shall be Sufficient
discharges to the Said Treasurer for Such respective payments.

for viewing & making
estimates of the charge of
repairing or rebuilding
Brentford Bridge , and of
repairing Such part of
Chertsea Bridge as is in
Middx Etc}

It is Ordered by this Court that it be and it is hereby recomended and
referred unto the Committee of Justices of the peace for this County
appointed to Inspect and adjust the publick Accounts of the Said County
or any three of them to peruse the Bill or Account of Mr. James King< no role >
Carpenter of moneys by him Charged for viewing and making
estimates of the [..] charge of repairing or rebuilding Brentford
Bridge in the Said County and for repairing Such part of Chertsea
Bridge as is in the Same County and for his [..] Journeys on that
Occasion, and to Consider if the money charged in the Said bill
or account is Such as ought to be Allowed and paid And to
make their Report touching the premisses to the Court of the
next Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County.
