other times as they Shall appoint to consider what rates
& prices are reasonable & fit to be allowed for maintaining
& passing of Rogues, Vagabonds or incorrigible Rogues
pursuant to an Act of Parliament made in the thirteenth
year of his present Majesty's reign Intituled, An Act for
amending and enforcing the Laws relating to Rogues
Vagabonds and other idle and disorderly persons and for
reducing the Same into one Act of Parliament, and also
for amending the Laws for erecting providing and
regulating Houses of Correction,-And It is also referred
to the Said Committee to consider of the difficultys which
have arisen in & about putting the Said Act in execution,
and how Such difficultys may be redressed, And to make
their Report touching the premisses above mentioned unto
the Court of the next General Quarter Session of the
peace to be holden for this County.

Whereas by vertue of an Act of Parliament made in the
twelfth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord King George
the Second, Intituled, An Act for the more easy assessing,
collecting and levying of County Rates,-And Order and a
General Rate was made and assessed at the General
Session of the peace holden for this County in the Month
of December 1739 upon every Town, parish, or place in the
Said County for raiseing the Sum of eight hundred pounds,
which the Court of the Same Session did think necessary
and in their discretion Sufficient to defray the charge of
repairing or rebuilding a Publick Bridge called Brentford
Bridge in the Said County and also Such part of another
publick Bridge called Chertsea Bridge as in the Same
County, repairing the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
and to answer the other ends & purposes mentioned in the
Said Act, a presentment or presentments having been
made by the Grand Jury that the Said Bridge called
Brentford Bridge and the aforesaid part of Chertsea Bridge
which is in this County, were out of repaire and ought
to be forthwith repaired on rebuilt, and that the Said
House of Correction was out of repaire and ought to
be repaired, Now upon information given unto this
