Court doth assign unto him the Said Thomas Wallis< no role > and
doth Order that he be allowed a yearly Pension of
three pounds, And that the Treasurer for the time
being of the moneys raised or to be raised for reliefe
of Maimed Soldiers & Mariners within the Hundred
of Ossulston Edmonton & Gore in the Said County
do yearly & every year well & truely pay or cause
to be paid unto the Said Thomas Wallis< no role > the yearly
Pension or Sum of three pounds of lawfull money
of Great Britain by quarterly payments for &
towards his better Support & maintenance untill
Order of the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the
peace for this County to the contrary, and that the
Said pension doe commence from Midsummer
day last past.

By Adjornmt. on Saturday the 5th. day of July 1735

Order for writts of
Venire facias for trial
of traverses upon
Indictmts . be taken out
before one of the clock
in the afternoon of
the preceding day
before the day on
which Such traverses
are to be tryed}

Whereas great inconvenientys have happened by
reason that the writts of Venire facias for Sumoning
of Jurys for trail of traverses upon Indictments for
assaults , riots, imprisonments, Nusances, extortions
& other misdemeanours have frequently been taken
out the Same morning Such traverses are to be tryed,
For Prevention of which inconveniencys for the
future It is Ordered by this Court that all writts of
Venire facias for trial of Such traverses upon
Indictments be taken out before two of the clock in
the afternoon of the preceding day before the day on
which Such traverses are to be tryed, And in default
thereof the trial of Such traverses shall be deferred
& put off untill the then next ensueing Sessions.

exerciseing unlawfull
games & plays at
Tottenham Court in
the parish of St.
Pancras and
else where in Middx }

Whereas an Order was made by the Court of General
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the County of
Middx by adjornment on Friday the fourth day of
July last for preventing the acting & exhibiting of
Drolls & other Shows and to prevent the exerciseing
unlawfull games & plays at or neare a place called
Tottenham Court in the parish of St. Pancras and
elsewhere in the Said County, which Order hath been
