trouble & expences in
passing & releiving of
Vagrants}

Application being made undo this Court by James Bennett< no role >
and John Harding< no role > late Petty Constables of Uxbridge in this
County alledgeing that there is due to them the Sum of
four pounds & Six Shillings for their trouble & expences in
passing & releiving of Vagrants, as appeares by Certificates
under the hands of Sr. George Cooke< no role > Knt. James Rogers< no role > &
John Weedon< no role > Esqrs . three of his Maties Justices of the peace
for the Said County residing in Uxbridge Division in the
Same County, And the Said James Bennett< no role > & John Harding< no role >
praying that this Court will be pleased to Order that Mr.
Edward Scott< no role > high Constable within the Said Division may
pay unto them the Said Sum of four pounds and Six
Shillings, This Court being Satisfyed of the truth of the
premisses Doth Order that the Said Edward Scott< no role > doe
forthwith pay the Said Sum of four pounds and Six
Shillings unto the Said James Bennett< no role > & John Harding< no role >
in full of their Said demand, whose receipt together
with this Order Shall be a Sufficient discharge to the Said
Edward Scott< no role > for Such payment, And the Said James
Bennett & John Harding< no role > are upon Such payment to
deliver up the certificates of allowances made them for
their Said trouble & expences (being nine in Number as
is mentioned in the Said Certificate of Sr. George Cooke< no role > Mr.
Rogers Mr. Weedon) unto the Said Edward Scott< no role > .

Service of passing &
releiving of Vagrants }

Upon the recommendation of Honor at Smith & Richard
Hassell Esqrs . two of his Maties Justices of the peace for this
County residing in or neare the parish of Southmims in
the Said County It is Ordered by this Court that William
Bowman
< no role > Petty Constable of the Said parish be and he
is hereby admitted unto the Service of releiving passing &
conveying of Vagrants in and through this County for the
yeare now next ensueing (unless the Court of General or
Quarter Sessions of the peace Shall hereafter Order to the
contrary) in the place & Stead of William Ellis< no role > late Petty
Constable of the Said parish at the like Salary of thirty pounds
(which was allowed to the Said William Eills< no role > for the like
