Order for appointing Mr.
Gideon Saunders< no role > high
Constable within the
Hundred of Elthorne in
the room of Mr. John
Payn}

This Court being informed and well Satisfyed that Mr. John
Payn high Constable within the Hundred of Elthorne in
this County is become a Bankrupt, And It being very
necessary that another person should be appointed high
Constable in his stead, It is Ordered by this Court that the
said John Payn< no role > be and he is hereby absolutely discharged
from his said Office of high Constable, And this Court
doth appoint Mr. Gideon Saunders< no role > an Inhabitants within
the said Hundred of Elthorne to be High Constable within the same Hundred in the room & place of the said John
Payn, And doth Order that the said Gideon Saunders< no role > doe
immediately (after notice of this Order) attend James
Clitherow Esqr . & John Tarver< no role > Esqr . two of his Maties
Justices of the peace for this County dwelling in or neare
the said Hundred or one of them or some other Justice of
the peace for the said County dwelling in or neare the
Same Hundred and before such Justices or Justice of the
peace take his Oath for his due execution of the Office of
high Constable within the Hundred of Elthorne
aforesaid.

Order desireing John
Tarver Esqr to Examine
what was due to James
Evered a County
pentioner at the time of
his death, and to pay to
Eliz: Evered< no role > his widow
what he shall find due}

It is Ordered by this Court that John Tarver< no role > Esqr . one of his
Maties Justices of the peace of this County be and he is hereby
desired to examin and see what sum of money was due
& unpaid unto James Evered< no role > at the time of his death
which happened in the Month of January one
thousand seven hundred & thirty two for the arreares of
his Pention of three pounds a year payable to him by
Order of Court as a disabled soldier & Pentioner of this
County, And the said Mr. Tarver is desired out of such
money as he now hath or may have in his hands as
Treasurer for maimed soldiers & Mariners for the
Hundreds of Elthorne Spelthorne & Istleworth in the
said County pay unto Elizabeth Evered< no role > widow of the
said James Evered< no role > (she haveing applyed to this Court
