Order for appointing Mr.
Daniel Kemp< no role > of Hendon
& Mr. Henry Finch< no role > the
Elder of Greenhill in
Harrow to be high
Constables within the
Hundred of Gore in
the room of Mr. Thomas
Cogdale deced & Mr.
Matthew Fearne< no role > }

Whereas Matthew Fearne< no role > hath exhibited his humble
Petition unto this Court Setting forth that he hath Served the
Office of high Constable within the Hundred of Gore in this
County for the space of two years & about nine months,
And that about eight Months Since Thomas Cogdale the
other high Constable for the said Hundred departed this
life, By reason whereof the petr. hath ever since that
time been obliged to execute all warrants & precepts
throughout the whole Hundred aforesaid And the
Petr. therefore prayeth this Court to discharge him from
his said Office This Court being satisfyed of the truth of
the premises Doth Order that the said Matthew Fearne< no role >
the Petr. be and he is hereby absolutely discharged from
his said Office of high Constable, And this Court doth
appoint Daniel Kemp< no role > of Hendon within the said
Hundred in this County Gent to be high Constable
within the same Hundred in the room & place of the
said Thomas Cogdale< no role > And doth also appoint Henry
Finch the elder of Greenhill in the parish of Harrow
within the said Hundred in this County Gent to be
high Constable within the Same Hundred in the room
& place of the said Matthew Fearne< no role > , And this Court
doth further Order that the said Daniel Kemp< no role > & Henry
Finch
< no role > doe each of them unmediately (after notice
of this Order) attend one of his Maties Justices of the
peace for this County dwelling within the said
Hundred And take his Oath respectively before such
Justices of the peace for his due execution of the
Office of high Constable within the Hundred of
Gore aforesaid.
