Meeting of two Comittees
one of Middx and the
other of Westmr. in order
to Settle a Method for
the passing of Vagrants
from the City & Liberty
of Westmr.

Whereas by an Order made at the general Sessions of the peace
holden for the County of Middx by adjornment on Thursday
the tenth day of May last a Committee of Justices of the
peace of the said County therein named (to witt) John
Milner Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > William Dobyns< no role > Thomas Burdns< no role >
Robert Hinde< no role > the younger Barwell Smith< no role > Thomas Pindar< no role >
Robert Tothill< no role > Honorat Smith< no role > John Martin< no role > Anthony
Chamberlain Alexander< no role > Garrett Theodore< no role > Smith & John
Mercer Esqrs . or any three of them were appointed to
Meet another Committee of the Justices of the peace of
the City & Liberty of Westminster (if the Court of Sessions
of the peace there should think fit to appoint one) And
together with such other Committee to consider of what
Method they should think most proper for the passing
& conveying of such Vagrants as shall or may be
apprehended within and ought to be passed from the
City of & Liberty of Westminster to or through the
County of Middx when they are to be sent to other
Countys, And to report to the Court what they should

hath laid before this Court an Order made at the
Session of the peace held for the City & Liberty of
Westminster by adjornment on Saturday the sixth day
