assessed upon the several parishes & places within his
District for the passing & releiving of Vagrants and received
by him the said Richard Norwood< no role > forthwith pay unto
the said Richard Matthews< no role > the said Sume of five pounds &
Seven Shillings in Satisfaccon of the moneys allowed him
for his trouble and expences in passing & releiving of
Vagrants, And that the Said Richard Norwood< no role > Shall be
allowed the Said Sume upon his account, he produceing
this Order & the receipt of the Said Richard Matthews< no role > for the
Same.

Whereas by an Order made at the General Sessions of the peace
holden for this County by adjournment on Thursday the
twenty Seventh day of August last It was Ordered that William
Cotesworth Esqr . then Treasurer of the moneys raised in this
County for the passing & releiving of Vagrants should
forthwith (after his receiving from Richard Norwood< no role > Gent high
Constable within the Hundred of Elthorne in this County
the moneys assessed for the purpose aforesaid upon the
respective parishes and places within his District) pay unt [..]
Owen Jones< no role > late Constable of Uxbridge in the Said County
for the year one thousand seven hundred & twenty
eight the Sume of Six pounds two Shillings and Six pence
in Satisfaccon of the moneys allowed him for his trouble
& expences in passing & releiving of Vagrants, And tha [..]
the receipt of the said Owen Jones< no role > together with the said
Order should be a Sufficient discharge to the said Mr.
Cotesworth for such payment, And whereas the said Owen
Jones hath exhibited his humble peticon unto this Court
Settingforth that the hath often applyed to the said Mr.
Cotesworth for payment of the same who hath refuse
soe to doe, Mr. Norwood having not paid him the money
in his hands for that purpose, But that the said Mr. Norwood
informs the peticoner that he is ready to pay the said
moneys to the peticoner provided he is Ordered by this
Court soe to doe, It was therefore prayed by the peticoner
that this Court would make an Order on Mr. Norwood
for payment of the Same accordingly on such other.
