Justices of the peace of this County appointed to Oversee the Hay-
Market in the parishes of St. Martin in the fields and St. James
within the Liberty of Westminster in this County acquainted
this Court by Order of the Said Committee That the Inhabitants
of the upper end of the Hay-Market whose houses are
excluded by the Toll post lately Setup by Order of this Court
insist that their houses are [..] within the Limitts of
the Said Hay-Market and that the pavements before their
Doors ought to be repaired out of the Toll and further
acquainted this Court That they intend to proceed at Law
to try the Limitts of the Said Hay-Market , And the Said Mr.
Blackerby further acquainted this Court that the pavement
at the uper end of the Hay-Market So excluded by the Toll
Post latly Set up is in a most ruinous and dangerous
Condicon, and therefore prayed the direction of this Court
in relacon to the premisses, which being taken into
Consideracon, It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It
is hereby recomended and referred unto the Said
Committee (Vizt.) To the Honble. William Clayton< no role > Esqr . Sr.

Justices of the peace of this County or any five or more of
them to assemble and meet together, And to make a further
Inquiry upon Oath touching the Limitts of the Said Hay-
Market, And in case it [..] Shall appear to the Satisfaccon
of the Said Comittee that the houses lately excluded by
The Toll Post are within the Limitts of the Hay-Market
intended by the Act of Parliament made in the eight and
ninth years of King William the third and ought to be
taken as part thereof and Should be repaired out of the Toll
mony of the Same, That then the Said Committee of
Justices Shall be and they are hereby empowered to
propose and offer in ease of the Inhabitants of the Said
Hay-Market the Surpluss of the Toll Money of the Said
Hay-Market if any Shall be (over and above the
