Upon reading the humble peticon of
Elizabeth Peirson< no role >
Widdow
exhibited unto this Court setting forth that
John Peirson< no role >
her
late husband
was Pentioner of this County at three Pounds
P Anum for many Years last past and dyed on the twenty
fourth day of August last, And that the Petitioner is upwards
of fourscore Years of Age, and left in a very poor and miserable
condicon, And the petitioner therefore humbly prayed that
this Court would be pleased to Order the payment of the Michas
Quarters pention to the petitioner, This Court being satisfyed
of the truth of the premises Doth desire and direct that the
Treasurer of the Moneys raised within the Hundreds of
Ossulston
Edmonton
and Gore
in this County for relief of
Maimed Soldiers and Mariners doe thereout pay unto the
petitioner the Sume of fifteen shillings for the Quarters
payment of the said pention which would have been
due to her said Husband at Mistras last if he had so long
lived, and that the receipt of the petitioner together with
this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such payment.

Upon reading the humble petition of

Constables of the parish of Endfield
in this County exhibited
unto this Court setting forth that about three Yeares and a half
since
John Hewett< no role >
one of the Constables
of Endfeild
aforesaid
the person appointed by the Court to convey the Vagrants by
passes to the next adjoyning County dyeing the petitioner
did apply to succeed him And the petitioner by the perssuasions
of
Henry Mackeris< no role >
and on his faithful promises to serve the
petitioner did intrust the said Mackeris to sollicit the matter
for him Knt that the said Mackeris instead of serving the
petitioner or regarding his promises did make interest and
obleyne to employment for himself telling the petitioner
self Interest guided all men And doth (tha' a man of very
good & substance and Estate) continue to convey the Vagrants by
persons hired for that purpose) being above doeing the duty
himself, And doth receive from this County for his trouble and
Expences the Sallary of sixty pounds P Annm that the
