such Orders and directions for the speedy and effectual
repair of the said prison and to employ such Workman or
Workmen in the doing thereof as they shall think fit,
and at as cheap rates and prices as the same can be
effectually done for, and to superintend and see that
such repairs be well and sufficiently done and performely
in a Substantial and Workmanlike manner, And to
give an accompt to the Court of General or Quarter
Sessions of what Sum or Sums of Money shall be due
and payable to the Workman or Workmen so to be
employed for the doing thereof, And this Court doth
Order & direct that such Workman or Workmen
shall be paid & satisfyed the same by the said
John Geary< no role > who is to be allowed the same out
of the yearely sume of twenty pounds by him
payable as Keeper of New Prison aforesaid to
the Clerke of the peace of this County or his
Deputy for repaireing of the said prison, And that
in case the said John Geary< no role > shall happen to
dye before he shall be soe allowed the moneys
which shall be by him soe paid to such
Workman or Workmen, that then such part of
the moneys soe by him paid & of which he
shall not have had such allowance as aforesd.
in his life time shall be allowed & paid to
the Execrs. or Admrs. of the Sd. John Geary< no role > by
such ways & meanes as the Justices of the peace
for this County shall at their Generall or
Quarter Sessions of the peace in that behalfe
