of holding Qur. Sess:
for Psons to take
the Oaths Etc.

Whereas by an Act of Parliament made in the Ninth Year
of the Reigne of his present Majestic Intituled An Act
to oblidge all persons being papists in that part of
Great Brittaine called Scotland and all persons in
Great Brittaine refuseing or neglecting to take the Oathes
Appointed for the Security of his Majesties person and
Government by Severall Acts therein mentioned to Register
their Names and reall Estates All persons as well Women
as men above the age of Eighteen Yeares having any
Freehold Coppyhold or other reall Estate not haveing
already taken the Oathes of Alegiance Supremacy and
Abjuracon since his Majesties happy Accession to the Nirons
are required to take the said Oathes in Some of the Courts
at Westminster Hall or in the Quarter Sessions of the
County or place where they Dwell before the Twenty
fifth day of December next Or to Register their and
Estates as papists were Obliged to doe by two former Acts
And in Neglect or Default in takeing such Oathes or
makeing such Registries will forfeit their said Estates
and all their Interest therein (vizt.) Two thirds to his
Majestie and One Third to such protestant who shall
informe and sue for the same, Now for the better
Notification of the said Act and informacon of his Maties.
Subjects within this County and to prevent their incurring
the penaltyes and forfeitures before menconed It is
Ordered by this Court that this Order be forthwith
published And It is hereby Ordered and Declared and
All persons Concerned are Desired to take notice that this
present Quarter Sessions shall and will be he [..] by
Adjornmt. at Hicks Hall in St. John Street on wednesday
the Twenty Fourth day of July Instant and alsoe on
Wednesday in every week afterwards at Nine of the Clock
in the forenoon untill the Twenty Sixth Day of August next
for the Accomodacon of such persons as Shall Attend to take
