Who being upon Oath Severally Say and first the
Said William Batton< no role >
for himself says that
between five and six Clock in the Evening of Tuesday
the thirtieth day of October last he looked up in a
Box in a Room at the Saracens Head Inn aforesaid
two Coats one Waistcoat and one Hat and three Cravats
That about half an Hour past one o'Clock on the
next Morning he went to bed That upon Examining
his said Box he found it had been broke open
and the said Things taken away And this
informant further says that the Hat and Steel
now produced he found in the said Room which
he is confident were not there at the time he
locked his said Box the preceeding Evening And
the said Peter Ashmore< no role >
for himself says that
he was present in said Battens Room with said

That Informant took up the
Hat now produced and removed the lining when
he found
