The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster
and County
of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of
Thomas Sainsbury< no role >
Esquire
and Thomas Hallifax Esquire
two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace
for the City of London
and
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum
bearing date the second Day of October One thousand
seven hundred and eighty seven
Sarah Ottey< no role >
aged five years and upwards was removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Bride
London to the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of
Middlesex
whereby your Petitioners think themselves
aggrieved and humbly appeal to this Court against
the same.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray that your Worships will please to
appoint some Day in this present
Session for the hearing and determining
the said Appeal and that all Persons
concerned therein may be ordered then
to attend touching the said Appeal.
