maketh oath that on Thursday eve. last dept was
called in to see the deced: that he assembled to bleed him but he bled very
little and was quite dead. Dept examined the body & the Head of the deced
but did not perceive any bruise or contusion, or anything that can
enable him to form a Judgment whether the deceds death was natural
or occasioned by any violence.

oath that on Thursday eve. last as dept was standg. with John Millan< no role >
in Long lane
John Verstille [..] came up and sayed to Millan "What business Lady [..]
"Whit my Daur", at the same time the deced also came up & repeated the
same, & some words passed between Millan and the deced, and the deced
pushed Millan and struck him with his fist on the Neck, other they
both fought, Millan having first asked the deced if he would fight two, who
answered yes; that as they were closed with each other the deced fell from
him backwards but Dept did not perceive that his fall was occasioned by
a blow or not; that he could not Set up but was helped up & directly
afterwards died.
