for the Payment of Fifteen Pounds
Ten Shillings to the order of Joseph Webster< no role >
Two Months after date dated Manchester
December 15th. 1785 and Purporting to be Indorsed
by John Buckley< no role >

That From Inquiry since made
he is very sure that the Indorsement of John
Buckley on said Bill of Exchange is a Forgery
That at the same time this Informant requested
said Gregson to write his Name on said Bill of
Exchange when he wrote the Name of James
Mills which now appears thereon giving this
Informant at the same time his address vizt.

Forged and published the said Indorsement

as his own Name with an intention to defraud
