Who upon their Oaths Say and first the said Joseph
Robertson for himself Saith That he is a Shoemaker
and lives opposite to the House of the above named Mathew
Haynes who keeps a Pettycoat Warehouse in High Holborn
That about the hour of 4. o Clock this afternoon he saw a
Man who says his Name is John Williams< no role >
Take
Black Callimanco Pettycoat from off a Hook at the
door of the said Mathew Haynes< no role >
and ran away
with it down Holborn into Queen Street
That this
Informant Pursued him and called out Stop Thief
and he Threw the Pettycoat into a Cellar Window
in Queen Street
That he then Seemed him and gave
him in Charge to a peace Officer
And this Informant Mathew Haynes
for himself Saith That a certain Black Callimanco
Pettycoat was about the hour of 4. o Clock this [..]
afternoon Stolen from the door of his Dwelling House
in High Holborn
and that the Pettycoat now Produced is
his Property, the same that was Stolen as aforesaid
and is of the Value of Five Shillings
Taken and Sworn the day
and year aforesaid before me}
