take them the said Prisoners, into Custody, and that he
the said Delarieve did not like to have his Name exposed.
That it was then agreed by all persons present that they
the said Prisoners should refund the said Money when they
the said Prisoners were charged in the presence of him this
Examinant with defrauding the said Delarieve of his
Money in the Manner before Stated, That the said Prisoners [..]
did not doing it, That the said Green had got a Guinea
and an Half and that the said Howlett pulled out a
Twenty Pounds Bank Note and sayd that if any Body
would give him Change he the said Howlett would make
up the Remainder of the Money, But no Body would do
it, That he this Examinant and Mr. Ackland then
agreed to give the Prisoners in Charge to be brought before
a Magistrate which was accordingly done, That the said
Howlett and Green , were sent with a Constable, and Mr
Ackland, Declarieve and this Examinant went into a
Coach, and in passing the Mansion House aforesaid
Examinant saw the said Oliver standing and seemingly
looking after the other Prisoners Howlett and Green, That
Examinant, Mr. Ackland and the said Declarieve then
stopt the Coachman and went out and apprehended
the said Oliver and put him into the Coach, That when
they came to the Coppter they were desired by the Mob
to stop, on which Examinant went into the Compter for
the Constable to take Charge of the Oliver, That the said Oliver
on being put in the Coach as aforesaid addressed Mr.
Delarieve by asking How he did and laughed, That the
said Delarieve then sayd heeverymeaning the said Olive
Examinant believes was one of the Men.
