The Examinant of Peter Delareise< no role > of Tanton Week
in the Parish of Hampton in the County of Middlesex
Esquire Taken this 13th day March 1786

Saith that on Tuesday the seventh Instant about Eleven or Twelve
of the Clerk he was Met by the Prisoner Michael Green< no role >
in Luice Street that he tapped him on the Shoulder and sayd
that his Name was Sir Edmund Afthat Examinant
knowing that Mr Phillip Allcock< no role > a Relation of Sir Edmund Allcock< no role >
was a Proprietor of East India Stock and as he was then
Soliciting Votes for Caplam John Traser< no role > , a particular Friend to becameelected an
East India Breetor he ask the Prisoner Green who personated
for Edmund Affect for his Interst with Mr Philip Allcock< no role >
which he promised to use, that the Prisoner Howlett was also
in Company that Green askd Examinant to go into the
Ship Ale House un Lane Street and Drink a Glass of Wind
which he [..] agreed to that Howlett went with them, that Green
led them into the Room where Examinant was afterwards found by Thomas
Williams. That upon then going into the Room a Quit of
Wine was called for by one of the Prisoners that immediately
afterwards the Prisoner Thomas Oliver< no role > came into the same Room
that he appeared to be a Strange to the other Prisoners
that either Green or Howlett [..] Chaulked on a Table
in the Room the Letters A. B. & C. and that
