says
that on Wednesday the 22nd. day of March instant about two oClock
he saw a person now present who calls himself James Perry< no role >
at a
Public House which he believes to be called Waltham Cross
and
another person whom he is informant is George Moore< no role >
in Company
together-that said Moore complained to him that he had lost
all his Money by the Lottery and that he meant to go into the County
to avoid an Execution against him for debt which he understood
was meant to be put in force -That he said Moore saidMoore
that he had some things in pawn and wished this Inform and to
take them out of pawn, to advance the Money for so doing and
to give him afterwards what he could afford for the same-that
he went with said Moore to several different Pawn brokers and
red cemed out of pledge the different Articles of Furniture and
Wearing Appeal now produced and sworn to by Humphry Jackson< no role >

that on Monday last about one oClock he met the said
Joseph Stephens< no role >
at the Blue Anchor
in Petticoat Lane
who told
him that he this Informant had got some things of belonging to a Friend of
his, meaning the above Articles, and that said Stephens further told
him at the same time that he he had got a Hat to sell
belonging to a Shopmate of his - that said Stephens delivered said
Hat to this Informant and he lent him three Shillings on the
same - that said Hat is the Hat now produced by him and
