Williams several times at the Horse Shoe and at the Hoop
and Falcon and has not the said Williams theres That
he this Examinant about five or Six Weeks ago first saw
Richard Rogers< no role > at the Horse Shoe aforesaid [..] a drinking
with the said Gould and John Kent< no role > . That he this Exami-
-nant sometimes had about ten O'Clock in the Morning
a Pennyworth of Beer at the Horse Shoe aforesaid. That
Price the Landlord of the Horse Shoe aforesaid never for bad
this Examinant coming into his House neither did the
said Price's Wife do so. That about a Week ago Examinant
engaged in Business, with posten a Horse Doctor That on
Thursday [..] he this Examinant went for a Walk to King and
[mark] That Examinant set out for Kingsland aforesaid about Nine
O'Clock in the Morning and returned to Town about four
or five in the Afternoon of the same Day, That Examinant
on Sunday went first to the Barber and from thence to Price's
of the Horse Shoe and had a Pint of Purl and a Pennyworth
of Gice, That Mr. Price served him this Examinant with the
gin but he this Examinant made the Past himself That
from, Price's Examinant went to the Hair Dresser 's in Foster
Lane and [..] after he bought two Pounds Weight of Potatoes, and
went Home, and dined of Pork and Potatoes. That after
Dinner he this Examinant went to Williams's and
called for a Pint of Beer, and met Mr. Giles the Barber
there and Mr. Morris, That he this Examinant became
Acquainted with the said Rogers at Williams's House, but Knows nothing
of the said Rogers tho' he this Examinant has drank with
him at the Bell, and Coopers Arms, That he this Examinant
doth not Know that he saw at the Eagle and Child. That
this Examinant has been in Company with Hunston the said
Rogers, Gallant, Morris, Haslam and Gould, but does not
know Evans, That he this Examinant has had no Dealings
with Thos. Williams< no role > , Big Jones, and Jones the Taylor, Shipley
or Chappell, That he this Examinant received a Letter or from
the said Rogers at the Bell, and that the said Gallant and Morris
