The Humble Petition and Appeal of
The Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint George by
Saint Pauls
in the said City
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of the Right Honourable Thomas
Wright Lord Mayor and Sir William Plmer Knight
Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City
and Liberties, bearing Date the Fifth Day of January
instant Mariah Hill Singlewoman
was removed
from the Parish of Saint Sepulchre without Newgate
in the said City unto the said Parish of Saint Gregory
by Saint Paul's
as the last Place of her legal
Settlement, whereby you Petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved and humbly beg leave to appeal against
the said Order or Pass Warrant
Your Petitioners therefore humbly Pray
that this Honourable Court will Proceed to
hear and determine Their said Appeal
and make such Order therein at shall
be just
And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
