To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the City of London in General Quarter
Session of the Peace for the said City of Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal
of The Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Tottenham
High Cross in the County of Middlesex .

Sheweth.


That by virtue of a certain Pass Warrant or Order of
Removal under the hands and Seals of Sir William Plomer< no role >
Knight and William Gill< no role > Esquire two of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the said City of London and Liberties thereof
one being of the Quorum bearing date the sixteenth day of
December one thousand seven hundred and eighty five Mary
the Widow of Joseph Bell< no role > was removed from and out of
the Parish of Saint Mary Mounthaw in the City of London
to the said Parish of Tottenham High Cross by the description
of the Parish of Tottenham in the County of Middlesex as the
place of her last legal Settlement.

That Your Petitioners Apprehend themselves to be
aggrieved by the said Order of the said Two Justices and
Therefore humbly Appeal against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray that the benefit of this their Appeal
may be saved unto them and that the
hearing and Determining thereof may be
adjourned until the next General Session
of the Peace to be holden in and for the
said City of London .
