West London, and the
Church-Wardens andOverseers of the Poor
of theParish of Liberty of Saffron Hill Ely Rents
and Hatton Garden in the Parish of Saint Andrew
Holborn in the County of Middlesex
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum,
by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Dunstan in the West
London, That Elizabeth Simmonds< no role > a Singlewoman
with her two Castard Children namely William aged< no role >
three Years and Mary < no role > aged Eighteen Months, was
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and was likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Elizabeth as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Elizabeth
to be in the saidParish of Liberty of Saffron Hill Ely Rents
and Hatton Garden
and that thitherto she with her said two Children for nurture ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and
require you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Dunstan in the West
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Elizabeth
withand William and Mary her two Children under the
age of Seven Years for nurture
from and out of your said Parish, unto the saidParish of
Liberty of Saffron Hill Ely Rents and Hatton Garden
And them deliver unto theChurch Wardens andOverseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our order, who is and are hereby required to receive and
provide for them according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals, this first Day of October One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty five
