The Jurors for our Lord the King Upon their Oath Present That Henry More< no role > and John Houghton< no role > Late of the Parish of
Saint Brides in the City of London in the Ward of Farrington Without Labours Being Persons of Ill Name and Jame
And Dishonest Conversation and Not Minding to Get their Living by truth and honest Labour According to the Laws of this Realm
but Compassing and Devising how they Might Unlawfully Obtain and Get intotheythere hands and Possession the [..] the
Honest Liege Subjects of our Said Lord the King fortheirthe Maintainance of their Unthrifty Living, on the [..] fourth
[..] of August in the twenty fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third Now King of Great [..]
[..] parish Aforesaid in the City and Ward Aforesaid falsly and Deceitfully Did pretend and Affirm to Britain
Gough that Was then and is Now A prisoner in this Majesty's prison of the fleet in the parish Aforesaid and City And Ward afore [..]
Under Execution in the Court of Each equer at the Suit of John Pennington< no role > for the Sum of 163 that the said Henry More< no role > and John Houghton< no role > then and there fraudently and
Deceitfully did pretend and Affirm to the said Wm Gough< no role > that they Could and Would Suppers dade the Said Action
And did Act as Attorney for the Said Wm Gough< no role > And they the Said Henry More< no role > And John Houghton< no role > Nor Either of them
Ever Was An Attorney and the Said Henry more and John Houghton< no role > Haveing a Copy of the Causes and Likewise a Certificate from the
Warden of the Fleet and well knowing that the Said Action was Not Superseable Nor Could be Supperseaded but pretending
that the Pst Attorney if three Summons Was takeing out that Messrs Ayrton and Davies Being Pst Attorney Would Not
oppose a Judger Order Being Made out

And on the 24th Day of Augt 1785 Obtaind Six Shilling

Bury in Hertfordshire
