Peruke Maker, Tate Maker and Tooth Drawer, or
any or either and which of them.

It seems to me that this Question is answered by the
Circumstance mentioned in the latter put of this Case, vizt.
that the Mistery of Barbery has been considered to conclude
these Branches The Expressions of the Characters and State being
in this respect indefinite it will be competent t give Evidence
of the Usuage uniformly practised in order to explain them
If such has been the Usuage I think the Term Barbery
sufficient in Point of Law to include the several Employmts.
here enumerated.

2d. Are such Persons as have served a regular
Apprenticeship to the said Mistery and as well
Englishmen as Aliens resident within the City of
London, Suburbs thereof and Seven Miles round
exempt from serving WardofficeParish Office
bearing of Arms and serving on Inquests & Juries
under the above Charters & Acts of Parliament
or are such Priviledges and Exemptions only
confined to the Freemen of the said Company
resident as aforesaid.

The Priviledges granted by the Charters and Statute (whatever
they may belong to these only whom the Company acknowledge
or are bound to acknowledge as it's Members which seem to
me to be the Freeman only.

3d. Can any Person being a Freeman of the said
Company or not take any one to be instructed
in the said Mistery unless such One is bound
by Indenture for Seven Years.

I think not This must be understood with a Reference to my
Answer to the 1st. Question.
