Prisoners
jointly make Oath and say that they are
not at present prepared to take their Tryals on the
Indictment found against them and that John Jones< no role >
of Chancery Lane
in the County of Middlesex
Cordwainer
is a Material Evidence for these Deponents on the
Tryal of this Indictment and without whose
Testimony those Deponent cannot with safety
take their Tryals. And these Deponents further
say that they have used and caused all due diligence
to be used to Subpena the said John Jones< no role >
to
Appear in this Honourable Court and to give his
Evidence in this Master but these Deponents are
informed that the said John Jones< no role >
will not be in Town
until Tomorrow Evening the Seventeenth Day of
September Instant and that they shall as they
verily believe have the benefit of his Testimony on
