for taking a false Oath

William Young< no role > Knight of Great
Marlborough Street in the County of Middlesex
Agent to the Solicitor of the Admiralty and Thomas
Harrison
< no role > of Johnston in the same County
Labourer severally make Oath and say and first
the said William Young< no role > Knight for himself
saith That on or about the Sixteenth day of
August last the Prisoner William Ryan< no role > was
committed to the New Prison Clarke well
by Robert Smith< no role > Esquire one of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
acting at the Rotation Office East Smith field
for feloniously assuming the name and
Characters of the next of Kin of John Harrison< no role >
late Seaman belonging to His Majesty's
Ship the Isis deceased in order to receive the Wages
due for the Service of th said John Harrison< no role >
on Board the said Ship And this Deponent
further Saith that previous to the said William
Ryan
< no role > 's Committment as aforesaid Letters of
administration of the said deceased's effects
had been granted by the Prerosative Court
of Canterbury to the Prisoner by the name
of William Harrison< no role > as this Deponent
has been informed and verily believes And
