The Information of John Moore< no role > of Great Peter Street No 17 Soho Chad Pump Maker apprehended
and brought me, The Right Honourable Thomas
Harlby< no role > , one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace For
the said City, and which said John Moore< no role > as admitted
an Evidence For the Crown Who being on Oath
saith, that about a Fornight ago, he was concerned with
Nicholas Todd< no role > , one of the Prisoner s now under
Examination, in a Felony at Marybone , and
Feloniously stealing an old men Quilt, and several
other things And this Informant Further saith,
that on Wednesday Co [..] he with thetwo
Prisoner now under Examination & Nicholas Todd< no role >
and George [..] al [..] Hannah differs and one Burley met at Informants House in
Great Peter Street aforesaid and about six O'Clock
the same Evening Informant and thetwo Prisoner s
Todd together with Hannah Clifford< no role > and Barley and Boy about sixteen Years old,
set out, having agreed to go robbing they were
going through Swallow Street , when Nicholas
Todd made the Observation that a Window at one
Pair of Stairs was open, and Todd proposed to
put the Boy in to take the Linen which appeared
to be hanging in the Room Informant said
"Todd For God's Sake, dont put him in we
shall be catch'd Tent Todd assisted the Boy
to get by means of the Lamp Iron into the
Window The Boy remained in the Room, about
two Hour, and Informant and the Prisoner Todd
began to be afraid of a discovery, as they saw
a Man at a Chandler's Shop opposite, whom
they thought was watching them Informant
proposed to go and Fetch George Katon< no role > the other
Prisoner now under Examination, and accordingly
Informant went to the House in Great Peter
Street , where he lives and saw Katon, to whom
he related the Malder Katon damned his
Eyes, and he said he would go and get the
Poors out two Men whose Names Informant
don't know and another of this Name of Sh [..] went together with Informant and
Katon to Swallers Street in the way, Todd met
