hath been informed and believes lodged at the Dwelling House of Esther

in Saint Martins Lane
near Charing Cross

aforesaid is a material Witness
for this Deponent
on the Trial of the
Indictment depending against him at the present Session of Oyer and Terminer for
the City of London
for the Crime of Perjury And that without the benefit of the
Testimony of the said Edward Corbett< no role >

on the said Trial he this

cannot with safety take his Trial on the said Indictment at this

saith that on or about the Twentieth day of

Corbett at his said Lodgings whenever it became necessary for him to attend as

caused a Writ of Subpena to be issued out and a Copy thereof to be made for the

then lodged and was to be met with and this Deponent

of he said Esther Kemble in order
to serve him the said Edward Corbett< no role >

was then and there informed by the said Esther Kemble that the said Edward
Corbett had about three weeks before the said eleventh day of April instant left
his Lodgings at the said House in order to go into Worcestershire
upon some
