The Information of John Geddes< no role > of
Rose Street Long Acre , in the County of Middlesex
Stay Maker Who being on Oath saith, that
Yesterday Morning, a Person who said he was the
Brother of John Mann< no role > , who had been apprehended
For Feloniously Stealing three Pair of women's
Stays, his Property & the said Person offered to
pay For the Stays, and also to satisfy Informant
For his Loss of Timer provided Informant would
decline a ProsecutionInformant refused to
accept of any Money, and declared he would
have the Matter go before a Magistrate
the said Person then insisted more earnetly on
Informant's accepting a Satisfaction for his Loss
of the Stays, but he poremptorily refused,
whereupon the Person left three Guinea in
the Hands of Mr Middleton's Man For
Informant to accept if he thought Fit, but he
hath hitherto refused to accept of any
Satisfaction.
